LNB Community Bank has taken the hassle out of switching banks! We have put together a helpful checklist to guide you through switching your accounts to LNB Community Bank. Do you have direct deposit or automatic payments? We have also created letters to assist in routing these to your new account. So stop by and see us. You’ll be glad you did.
- Open a new account with LNB Community Bank.
- Complete the Reconciliation Form to help balance your current account. Stop using that account but keep it open until all of your checks have cleared and all direct deposits and automatic withdrawals have been changed.
- Complete the Direct Deposit / Automatic Payment Switch Form for each deposit or payment that you wish to have changed to your new LNB Community Bank account. Social Security or SSI direct deposits can be changed by calling 1-800-772-1213. Depending on when the forms are mailed, it may take two billing cycles for any changes to be processed.
- Once all direct deposits and automatic payments have been switched to LNB Community Bank and all outstanding checks have cleared it is then safe to close your old account. We have provided Request to Close letter to help you in this process.
