Health Savings Accounts were created by the U.S. Government to help Americans with the cost of Medical Expenses. Health Savings Accounts are IRA-like accounts designed to cover medical expenses incurred by the HSA owner, the HSA owner’s spouse and their dependents. HSA contributions are deductible and if amounts are used for qualified medical expenses distributions of basis and earnings are tax free.

⁴If the balance falls below $200 or less than 15 POS debit card purchases are made per month, a $10 service fee will be assessed. Along with the service fee, the refunded Foreign ATM fees and $.10 cents per debit card purchase will not be credited that month.
