1. Open a new account with Lynnville National Bank.
2. Complete the Reconciliation Form to help balance your current account. Stop using that account but keep it open until all of your checks have cleared and all direct deposits and automatic withdrawals have been changed.
3. Complete the Direct Deposit / Automatic Payment Switch Form for each deposit or payment that you wish to have changed to your new Lynnville National Bank account. Social Security or SSI direct deposits can be changed by calling 1-800-772-1213. Depending on when the forms are mailed, it may take two billing cycles for any changes to be processed.
4. Once all direct deposits and automatic payments have been switched to Lynnville National Bank and all outstanding checks have cleared it is then safe to close your old account. We have provided Request to Close letter to help you in this process.
